The scene depicts a rustic hut with a cork roof enriched with moss and a simple structure reminiscent of a stable setting. Inside there is a rise where the hay is placed, while the Holy Family is positioned in the center of the scene with the ox and donkey in the background. The front part of the structure is finished in plaster and the ground is enriched with straw and natural details that make the setting more realistic.
